This past October, Sioux Lookout Meno Ya Win Health Centre (SLMHC) partnered with the Canadian Patient Safety Institute (CPSI) to adapt their patient guide, titled “5 Questions To Ask About Your Medications.

SLMHC receives Canadian Healthcare Organization of Distinction award, which is currently on display in the hospital.

Sioux Lookout Meno Ya Win Health Centre would like to acknowledge the generous donation of fish made to our Traditional Healing, Medicines, Foods and Supports Program.

The Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Ms. Sadie Maxwell has been appointed as Board Chair. Ms. Maxwell has served as a SLMHC board member for many years. She brings numerous years of experience.

Over $49,000.00 was raised for diagnostic imaging equipment.

Sioux Lookout Meno Ya Win Health Centre (SLMHC) is applauding the province of Ontario's decision to increase support to the people of the North. In March 2018, SLMHC applied to, Aging with Confidence: Ontario's Action Plan for Seniors, to increase much needed long-term care capacity in the area.
