Food Services and Cafeteria
The cafeteria is located on the lower level of the health centre. Hours of operation are 7:15 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Friday. Please note, there may be reduced hours during the weekends, statutory holidays, and the summer months.
There are a range of healthy and delicious meal options at the cafeteria including breakfast, lunch and dinner and items like sandwiches, salads, muffins and cold drinks.
COVID-19 Update: Effective Sept. 23 – The cafeteria is open to patients and essential care partners for take-out only. The cafeteria is open 7:15 a.m. – 6 p.m. Monday to Friday, and 7:15 a.m. – 2 p.m. on weekends.
Vending machines are located throughout the hospital and include cold drinks and snacks.

- Emergency Department. The vending machine in the Emergency Department waiting room offers sandwiches, muffins, cold drinks and other snacks.
Patient and Resident Meals
Healthy, home style meals are cooked daily on-site and served to patients and residents.
Mealtimes at Hospital:
Breakfast: 7 a.m.
Lunch: 11:30 a.m.
Dinner: 4:30 p.m.

Traditional Anishinaabe foods (Miichim) are offered to patients on a weekly basis.
