In consultation with public health authorities, the COVID-19 outbreak at Sioux Lookout Meno Ya Win Health Centre (SLMHC) has been declared over.
“We would like to express our thanks and appreciation to all our staff for their hard work and dedication to infection prevention and control and keeping our patients, visitors and staff safe during this time,” says SLMHC President and CEO Dean Osmond.
SLMHC is reminding visitors to refrain from visiting patients if you are feeling unwell and experiencing symptoms such as fever, shortness of breath, cough, nasal congestion, runny nose, sore throat, nausea, vomiting and/or diarrhea. Please do not visit until you have fully recovered.
