Please be advised that a COVID-19 outbreak has been declared at the William. A George Extended Care Facility (ECU).

Ensuring the health and safety of our residents and staff remains our top priority. Immediate measures are being implemented to prevent further transmission, including a limit of one (1) designated visitor per resident.

SLMHC is urging visitors to refrain from visiting our facilities if you are feeling unwell and experiencing symptoms such as fever, shortness of breath, cough, nasal congestion, runny nose, sore throat, nausea, vomiting and/or diarrhea. Please do not visit until you have fully recovered.

If you are in need of medical care, for the previously listed symptoms or for other health care needs, SLMHC’s Emergency Department is open 24/7.
