Celebrating Careers: Mikail Woychyshyn says goodbye after 14 years at SLMHC

Mikail Woychyshyn, Facilities Services, is retiring after 14 years at Sioux Lookout Meno Ya Win Health Centre (SLMHC). Mikail has been part of SLMHC’s Security team, and most recently has provided Maintenance Services as part of the Facilities team.

Mikail says he will really miss seeing his co-workers, and being part of a tight-knit team, everyday.

“I’m going to miss the guys I work with, and the rest of the staff that I’ve been seeing here for years. The guys I work with are like brothers. We’ve worked together for a long time, and I’ve seen a lot of staff here for many years. You get to know each other well, so I’ll miss the comradery.”

Mikail says he’s looking forward to enjoying more time with family, and he’s really excited for future summers.

“I’m going to really enjoy the summers. I like going to camp, fishing, hunting, and relaxing with family.”
