Highlighting our Team: Dana Ursula

Dana Ursula, MLT, works in the Sioux Lookout Meno Ya Win Health Centre (SLMHC) laboratory! Dana works with a dynamic team here in the laboratory where, on top of collecting and processing blood tests, they are busy processing COVID-19 tests and sample sorting.  

Dana has been with SLMHC for seven years, and she says the variety in the lab has allowed her to grow and become a well-rounded MLT.

“(At SLMHC) You get the opportunity to do everything that you’ve learned in school. It’s a very hands-on job that keeps you busy and active!”
