SLMHC foundation donates half a million dollars to SLMHC

SIOUX LOOKOUT, ON — The Sioux Lookout Meno Ya Win Health Centre Foundation presented a large sum of money to Sioux Lookout Meno Ya Win Health Centre (SLMHC). The amount was just a few thousand short of a half a million dollars.

“In recognition of this, we’d like the community to be aware of the role of the foundation and how we support SLMHC on a day to day basis,” said Foundation Chair Terry Jewell.

The foundation’s purpose is to raise money in order to provide funding for medical equipment, education, special treatment programs and building funds for SLMHC.
