Partnering with GE Healthcare and SDI Canada, Sioux Lookout Meno Ya Win Health Centre (SLMHC) saw the successful delivery of its new magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) machine on March 24.

Sioux Lookout Meno Ya Win Health Centre (SLMHC) and Sioux Lookout First Nations Health Authority (SLFNHA) have partnered with the Peter Munk Cardiac Centre at University Health Network (UHN) to provide heart failure care in the region and implement Medly, a digital health program that monitors your heart failure symptoms and connects you to the care team remotely.

On February 24, Sioux Lookout Meno Ya Win Health Centre (SLMHC) received two brand new Atellica CI Chemistry Analyzers, marking an important step forward in strengthening our laboratory services.

We fully support visiting and connection for patients and families during our designated visiting hours from 12 p.m. (noon) – 9 p.m. daily. Visitation is not available outside these hours, apart from designated care partners required for children, palliative patients, and labor and delivery patients.

Sioux Lookout Meno Ya Win Health Centre (SLMHC) and the SLMHC Foundation saw the successful delivery of the two prefabricated modular buildings designed specifically for our magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) suite on February 18, marking more steps forward to Sioux Lookout’s MRI machine becoming a reality.
