Job Summary:
The Mental Health and Addictions (MHA) Clinical Coordinator is responsible for the leadership and organization of the RAAM Clinic as designated by the Patient Care Manager. This includes daily clinic management, support for staff and patients, program development, quality improvement, data collection, administrative support, and adherence to best practice standards. The MHA Clinical Coordinator will be aligned with and a role model for the values of SLMHC, RAAM, and MHAP: compassion, teamwork, respect, quality, inclusion, accessibility, self-determination,
harm reduction, and dignity.

Qualifications/Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in a health, allied health, or social services field of study or equivalent (other postsecondary education and related experience may be considered).
• Registration in good standing with a recognized professional college and/or regulatory body in the province of Ontario.
• Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills.
• An advocate and role model for psychological safety, trauma informed care, harm reduction, cultural safety,
and inclusion.
• Experience in substance use, addictions, and/or mental health an asset.
• Excellent skills in all MS Office.
• Experience with Meditech and/or TREAT is an asset.
• Minimum (1) year experience in health-related field
• Demonstrated knowledge and practical experience in working with community organizations and resources.
• Demonstrated knowledge and practical experience in working with an interdisciplinary team.
• Demonstrated knowledge and practical experience with patient flow
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Ability to work well independently.
• Knowledge and sensitivity to First Nations language and culture an asset.
• Experience working in a case management model of care an asset.
• Ability to speak Ojibway/Oji-Cree/Cree an asset.

Job Duties:
• Follow the mandatory legal and ethical standards as set by SLMHC and their appropriate regulatory body.
• Support and contribute to the philosophy, mission, vision, values, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the Sioux Lookout Meno Ya Win Health Centre and the RAAM Clinic.
• Follow all policies and procedures of SLMHC and the RAAM Clinic.
• Monitor and ensure interdisciplinary team members comply with all practice standards.
• Accounts for, oversees, monitors and evaluates continuity and standard of care provided to clients.
• Supports and ensures the day-to-day operation of RAAM clinic and the delivery of
patient-centers, evidence-based care.
• Guides and facilitates the development of RAAM policies, procedures, forms, and
services.
• Ensures compliance with mandatory reporting, financial reporting, and data quality
standards.
• Provides guidance to problem solve clinical, ethical, and moral issues.
• Provides clinical support and coaching to frontline staff
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
